Sometimes you just have to open your ears and hear it.

I’ve never been good at recognizing when it’s time to give up. I tell my kids, “quitters never win and winners never quit”. Let’s face it, there are times in life when you have to walk away.

It’s hard to always know when the fat lady sings…. is she just warming up?… is that a pleasantly plump, not yet fat, lady singing?

But when you’re really quiet, and dive deep inside yourself, you can hear it……

And you know it’s over.

It wasn’t the skinny lady, or the pleasantly plump lady.. it was the fat lady singing all along.
